Yvonne Arlene Bindschatel

Yvonne Arlene Bindschatel, 80, of Grayling, passed away on March 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1938 in Grayling to the late J.C. and Mable (Hoffman) Millikin. Yvonne married Jack Edward Bindschatel on November 1, 1969. They were married for 13 years before he preceded her in death. She then spent 24 years with Murray Bindschatel until he preceded her in death in 2012. Yvonne worked at Bear Archery as a striper and then later retired from Crawford County Transportation Authority where she had worked as a driver and dispatcher. She enjoyed her family, playing her piano, camping, fishing, knitting and crocheting. Survived by her children: Kim (Brian) Pratt of Grayling; Karen (Chuck) Huber of Grayling; Monte Malonen of Grayling; Kay (John Woolford) Babbitt of Grayling; Dale (Jennifer) Bindschatel of Grayling; Dee (Paul) Van Nuck of Grayling; Jack (Barbie) Bindschatel, Jr. of Morrice, MI.; and Scott (Nikki) Bindschatel of Morrice, MI. Yvonne was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Brothers: Larry (Peggy) Millikin of Grayling; Jerry (Liz) Millikin of Grayling; and David (Cheryl) Millikin of Grayling. Sisters: Dorothy (Jerry) Walker of Grayling; Carolyn (George) Collen of Grayling; Susan Hohl of Okemos; and Janet (Tom) Broome of Inverness, Florida. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack; companion Murray; and brothers Don and William Jack "Pete" Millikin. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic in the spring.
