Wilma Lee Case, 91, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at Munson Healthcare - Grayling Hospital on August 21, 2024. 

She was born on March 11, 1933 to William B. and Letha W. (Leech) Freytag in McMillan Twp, MI. Wilma did volunteer work with the local hospices, sitting in and visiting with patients and also patients that were veterans. She would visit the nursing homes around Easter and Christmas to give gifts and Easter baskets to the residents there. She also volunteered a lot of time at the American Legion making meals for events held there. 

Wilma loved the river, especially the whirlpool. She enjoyed visiting the Great Lakes of Michigan, camping, and traveling. She once traveled as far as Hawaii with her sisters. She was an adventurer. She used to be a great dancer and enjoyed dancing to polka music. One thing she would say when asked to do something was "If the spirit moves me".

Wilma will be dearly missed by her family, including her children, Brandon Elizabeth Harland, Clover Del (Robert) Cooper, Shawn Starr Case, and Kama Ginnia Case; grandchildren, Nathan (Nicki) Tubbs, Sarah (Ron) Watson, Robert M Cooper, Jessica Cooper, Jaime Case, Danielle Case, Brittany Case, August Ledesma, Ginnia Denno, Mitchell Denno, Justin (Litita) Wood, Rose Wood, Mira (Sergio) Bolanos, and William Sommers; great-grandchildren, Zephyr, Auggie, Carmen, Justin, Maximus, Noah, Aliva, Annabelle, Keala, Draven, Leeann, Roselyn, and Branson; sisters, Winnifred Freytag and Nina Burkman; and many nieces and nephews. 

Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, William and Letha Freytag, siblings Vern Bryers, Dave Bryers, Alan Freytag, Jim Bryers, and Betty Harkness, and children Stephen Blake Wood, Mitchell Wood, Robert D Wood, son-in-law Stephen Thomas Harland.

Wilma's family will remember her privately during this time.
