William Perry Painter, 89, of Maple Forest Twp passed away August 3, 2022.
William was born to Joseph and Verda (Adkins) Painter in McRoberts, KY on March 1, 1933. William was always laughing and joking. He liked hunting, fishing and gardening. In his younger years he quit a job because they would not let him have time off for hunting season. He also looked forward to his fishing trips with his nephew, Dick Samuelson. He enjoyed taking walks to the lake to sit, taking walks through the woods, and like watching and feeding wildlife. He enjoyed target shooting, listening to music and watching westerns on TV. Something that was very important to him is that he was baptized at the age of 87. He is so missed and loved.
William is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Mary Painter; children Patricia Snider, Jolene Pembrook, Sherry Painter, Terry Francis, and Connie Bartley; special daughter Shana Perkins; grandson Jesse Blankenship, who he helped raise and was very close with, and 13 other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Darryl Babbitt, Val Serna, Scott Lafferty, Bob Stepp, Bill Paxton Jr., Dave Helton, Rena Hollon and Rex Alma.
