William Lee Moery

William Lee Moery, 75 , of Maple Forest Township passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family. He was born in Illinois on November 8, 1934 to Henry and Clatus Moery. Bill was proud to have served in the US Army. He worked for GM for 39 years and retired to Maple Forest in 2001. Bill had a ZEST for Life! He loved to sing, golf, sing, go to his high school reunions, and shoot pool. He loved the race track and was our own Jeopardy and history whiz. Bill was a member of the Grayling Eagles and could be seen there on Tuesdays and Fridays and he rarely missed a fish fry. Survived by: Former wife and friend Joan Moery, Daughters: Michele, Shari, Leslie, Jackie, and Diane his son Michael and all of their family members. 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother Charles, and sisters Lucy and Betty and all of their family members. Many nieces and nephews and sister in law Caroline. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul, and grandson Adam. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 30 between 2-4 p.m.. and 6-8 p.m.. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Interment will be at Maple Forest Cemetery.
