William "Earl" Jensen

William “Earl” Jensen 90 Lake Orion Mi.

Earl passed on August 11 2024.

He was born in Gaylord Mi to Leonard and Helen (Widrig) Jensen on March 2 1934. Earl was raised in State parks where his father was a Park Manager at Hartwick Pines. He graduated from Grayling High school in 1952. Earl retired as Senior Manager of Body in White Tooling at Chrysler Corp, where he spent most of his career. He and his wife Jeanine resided in Troy Mi before retiring to Frederic Mi. with a second residence in Florida.

He is survived by two sons, Chris and Eric, their spouses, Miranda and Wilma, sister Marlene, and brother Butch. Earl had three grand children, Derek, Whitney and Marshall as well as nine great grand children.

He is predeceased by his wife Jeanine, brother Leonard, sisters Shirley, Glada and Polly. 

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 3:00 PM with a memorial service starting at 4:00 PM at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI. A graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery and then a dinner will be served at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home following the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Earl can be made to Transitions Hospice, 5750 New King Dr Suite 110, Troy, MI 48098.
