Wilber John Near

Wilber John Near, Jr., 61, of Roscommon, MI passed away on July 14, 2017. Wilber was born in Standish, MI on May 10, 1956, a son of the late Nola Carol (Sims) and Wilber John Near, Sr. He served in the U.S. Army. Wilber married Cynthia Guilfoil on December 21, 2002 in Roscommon. Survived by his wife Cynthia Guilfoil. Daughters: Missy Russell, Katie Williamson, and Heather (Brian) Sattler. Son: Clayton Kreuzer and Heather (Brian) Sattler. 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brothers: Kenny, Dale, and Johnny Near. Sisters: Jenny Ecker, Tammy, Theresa, and Jolene Near. Preceded in death by daughter Tonya Kreuzer. Memorial service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
