Walter Henry Bailey

Walter Henry Bailey, of Beaver Creek Township passed away on Friday September 13, 2013. Walter was born in Cadillac, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army. Walter was the husband of Patricia, they were married in Grayling on October 1,1982. He was retired from General Motors. Walter enjoyed fishing, hunting, photography, welding, rebuilding tractors, cars, trucks, motorcycles and four wheelers. Survived by his wife Pat of 30 years. Daughters: Jody Bailey, of Cadillac, MI; Bonnie (Joe) Lelievre, of Cadillac, MI; Sons: Karl (Linda) Bailey, of Marion, MI; Hank Bailey, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Grandchildren:7 Great grandchildren: 6 Brothers: Elmer and Billy Bailey Sisters: Linda, Diane, and Dolly Brother in law: Leroy Allen who has helped care for him for over three years. Preceded in death by: parents; brother, Perry Jr.; and daughter Lisa. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Beaver Creek Township Cemetery on Friday September 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
