Virginia L. Kraus

Miss Virginia Kraus, 94, passed away peacefully February 9, 2013. Born in Grayling on June 28, 1918, she was one of six children of the late Emil and Leone Kraus and granddaughter of Albert and Fritze Kraus. Preceded in death by her brothers, Emil, William and John Kraus and beloved sister Yvonne Fitzpatrick. She will be forever remembered by her devoted sister Kathleen Cherven. Virginia was a dedicated contributor to the community, devoting 30 years of teaching in the Grayling schools. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
