Virgil Louis Koronka

Virgil Louis Koronka, 79, of Gaylord, passed away on January 11, 2022.

He was born in Gaylord to the late Louis and Florence (Hull) Koronka. Virgil was patient, kind, and understanding. He enjoyed camping and fishing, and time spent with his grandchildren.Virgil was married to the former Patricia Palmer on October 17, 1986.

Survived by his wife Patricia of 35 years. Children: Ronnie Koronka of Gaylord; Kevin Koronka of Gaylord; Debbie (Brian Coger) Koronka of Gaylord; Jeff Koronka of Gaylord; Kalynn Thayer of Gaylord; William Thayer of Florida; and Jason (Stacie) Mead of Grayling. Virgil was blessed with 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Brothers: Larry Koronka and Ken McKenzie. Sisters: Diane Morgridge and Kay Wilson. Father in law: Junior Palmer. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ernie and Bob Koronka, sister Dorothy Little, grandson Levi Coger, and mother in law Betty Palmer.
