Frederic, MI True Allyn Packman True Allyn Packman, 81, of Frederic passed away on Sunday, March 22nd, 2009. True was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 25, 1927, the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Lablanc) Packman. He married the former Alice Jones on October 27, 1944 in Royal Oak, Michigan. True moved to Frederic area in 1972 coming from Birmingham. He worked at the Crawford County Road Commission both as a truck driver and foreman. Survived by his wife Alice of 64 years Sons: William R (Dana) Packman of Tennessee, Allyn C (Barbara) Packman of Houghton Lake. One grandchild and 2 Great grandchildren Sisters: Janet Iovan and Pat Packman of Arizona Preceded in death by parents, a son Brian Lee Packman, brother Melvin Packman, and a sister Doris Skidmore No public services are planned. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
