Thomas Patrick Connelly

Thomas Patrick Connelly, 80, of Kalkaska, passed away on November 1, 2015. Thomas was born on January 23, 1935 in Piqué, Ohio to Maurice and Alice (Gorman) Connelly. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Thomas was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also member of Knight's of Columbus. He enjoyed wood carving. Survived by his children: Michealine (Chris) Koetsier of Grandville; Susan Aldrich (Laura Reitsma) of Belding; and Fred Connelly of Belding. Daughter in law: Robin Connelly. 14 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Brother: Bartholemew (Barbara) Connelly of Constantine. Sister: Alice Gilbert of Three Rivers. Preceded in death by his wife, Michealine Connelly; son, Thomas Patrick II; grandson, Chad Connelly; and brothers, Maurice, James, and John Connelly. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Sunday, November 8, 2015 between 5-7 p.m. with Scripture Service/Wake at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling.
