Shirley Anne Somero (Hall)

Shirley Anne (Hall) Somero, born July 31, 1929, age 84, passed away quietly today January 3, 2013 at GNC in Grayling, Michigan. She was preceeded in death by her devoted husband Hugo (Whitey) Somero, parents Milford and Esther (Jennings) Hall, Siblings Jack Hall, Tootie Wylie and Bonnie Richter. Her immediate family members are: Only son Alan Somero, Daughters Wanda (Jewell) Bonello and Abby Gail (Jewell) LeClair all of Grayling. She has bid farewell to grand children Joseph and David Somero,Krista Smith, G.T. Jurkovich, and Robin Kasenow, Shar Ingman. Following are a list of the wonderful great-grandchildren who will greatly miss "Grama Shirley" Haley, Thomas, Jonathan ,Ailee, and Andrew,Jake, Michell,Melissa, Olivia, Nathan, and Jaxson. Servant hearted all the way, attended Grayling Free Methodist for many years.She assisted with Voter Registration in Grayling, served as a TOPPS sec'y and even worked at the old Bear Archery in the 50-s and worked at Dad Hanson's on Main Street for a awhile. She loved her kitties Mutt and Jeff, needlepoint and mini doll houses. Seeing the country with her hubby a favorite pastime in their camper. She is barely gone and sorely missed already.
