Rose Marie Hatfield, of Grayling passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2009. Rose was born in France, the daughter of the late Joseph and Berthe (Waggoner) Hilt. She married Carl Hatfield on January 18, 1958 in France. Rose worked as a cashier at the Grayling State Bank (Now Citizens Bank), as a paraprofessional at Crawford AuSable School District, and she also worked closely with her husband Carl at Potbelly Antiques. Rose was a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church and sang in the choir there for many years. Survived by: 5 Brothers and sisters in France. Brothers-in law: Warren (Helen) Hatfield of Grayling Gary Hatfield of Kalkaska. Sisters-in-law: Mary, Louise, Marie, Helen, Barb, and Pauline Hatfield and Lois Kesteloot. Many nieces and nephews in the United States and France. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated concurrently in Paris, France with Rose's family.
