Ronald Eugene Nanney, 68, of Grayling, MI (and formerly Lincoln Park, MI) passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014. Ronald was born on March 26, 1946 in Garden City, MI to Eugene and Alice Nanney. Ronald has lived in the Grayling area for 11 years and was a member of the Grayling Eagles, The Grayling Moose Lodge, and the Ausable Valley Snowmobile Association. Ronald is survived by his wife, Sharon Nanney of Grayling, MI; step-mother, Carol Nanney of Essexville, MI; children, Ronald (Shana) Nanney of Oxford, MI and Robbin (Joe) Mangiapane of Riverview, MI; grandchildren, Craig, Kate, Anthony, Logan, Samantha, and Preston; siblings, Lois (Steve) Papp of Cass City, MI, Terry Jean (Blaise) Posluszny of Essexville, and Guy (Kathy) Nanney of Port Hope, MI.; sister-in-law, Cindy Nanney of Cass City, MI; brother-in-law, Joseph Vanderhoof of Kalkaska, MI; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister, Renie Vanderhoof and brother, Gary Nanney. Visitation will take place Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. A service will take place following the visitation. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Ronald.
