Robert George Snyder, Sr.

Robert George Snyder Sr., 68, of Beaver Creek Twp passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2023 at his home.

Bob was born on January 28, 1955 to George and Wilma (Fries) Snyder in Coldwater, MI.  He married Brenda Bearden on July 21, 1973. Together they raised 3 children. He served in the US Army from 1975 - 1978. Bob had many hobbies. He really enjoyed tinkering with wood products and was always helping his grandchildren with projects. They all called him "pops". Bob also loved riding his Harley with his family.

Bob was a happy-go-lucky man. You never caught him without a smile on his face and was always helping others if they needed anything. He often spent time waiting on others and had the biggest giving heart there was. Bob was a "foodie" as well. He loved buffet dinners and snacks with his family. He would make a special breakfast every morning for himself and Brenda. Bob took great care of his wife and family.

Bob will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Snyder; children, Myleia (Bill) Zech, Robert (Christy) Snyder Jr., and Paul Snyder; grandchildren, Lexi, Parker, Andrea, Haylee, Blake, Brittanie, Danny, Paul Jr., and Eric; great-grandchildren, Brantley and Rennie; and Bob's fur-baby, Molly.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Wilma Snyder, and brother, Alton "Leroy" Snyder.

Visitation will take place Monday, October 23, 2023 at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Lyon Twp, MI. A luncheon will be announced at the graveside.
