Robert J. Ruddy

Robert J. Ruddy, 85, of Grayling, passed away on June 13, 2015. Robert was born in Flint, MI on July 6, 1929, a son of the late Pearl and Earl Ruddy. He married the former Jaclyn Ann Premo on June 27, 1953 in Saginaw. She preceded him in death in 1997, after 44 years of marriage. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served as the undersheriff in Crawford County. Enjoyed fly fishing and participating in the reenactment of the US Civil War at Mackinac Island. Survived by his children: Michael (Debbie) Ruddy Ohio,Mark (Janet) Ruddy of Kingsley, Brian (Irene) Ruddy of Arkansas, and Maggie (Jim) Sperry of Williamsburg. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Military honors will be accorded at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, June, 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
