Robert M. "Bob" Richards

Robert M. (Bob) Richards, 83, of Grayling, MI and formerly of Pontiac passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2012. Robert was born in Pontiac, MI on December 19, 1928, a son of the late Florence (Opland) and George A. Richards. He served in the US Army as a Corporal. Robert served on the Pontiac Police Force as a reserve officer He retired from the Fisher Body plant in Pontiac in 1983 after working there for 37 years. Survived by: Son: Robert M. "Tad" (Karen) Richards, II, of Grayling, MI; Grandsons: Robert "Bobby" Richards III of Arizona and Jeffrey Richards of Grayling Sisters: Karen (Jack) Kennedy, of Waterford, MI; Marcia (Jonathan) Lipovsky, of Waterford, MI; Brothers: Donald "Bruce" (Barb) Richards, of Clarkston; Carl (Carol) Richards, of Weyland, MI; James "Jim" (Peggy) Richards, of Oxford, MI; Sister in law: Ruth Richards of Suttons Bay Several nieces and nephews Preceded in death by his brother George "Bud" Richards. Visitation will be held on Monday January 16, 2012 between 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
