Robert Floyd Boardman

Robert Floyd Boardman (64) of Grayling, MI passed away Friday October 18^th 2019.

Rob was born December 7^th 1954 in Saginaw, MI to Floyd and Pauline Boardman. He graduated from Douglas Macarthur High School in Saginaw Twp and then attended Western Michigan University. He married the love of his life Sue Davison, in Alma, MI on October 24^th 1980. During his career he worked at Fisher-Flack in Saginaw, Bovee Electric in Ithaca, Leonard's Electric in Grayling, and retired from Holiday Inn/Ramada in Grayling 

Rob enjoyed music and attending concerts and was very well-versed in music trivia. He was a devoted, lifelong Red Wings Hockey fan, never missing a game. He was a hard working man who loved his family and had many friends.

Rob is survived by his Wife of 39 years, Sue Boardman; children, AJ (Jenny) Boardman, Matthew (Jessica) Boardman, and Hayley (Andrew) Strohpaul; Father, Floyd Boardman; Brother, James (Dawn) Boardman; Sister, Karen Boardman; Grandchildren, Kylie, Kenzie, and Ruby. He is preceded in death by his infant Son, Robert Floyd Boardman, Jr. and Mother, Pauline Boardman.

A Celebration of Rob's Life is set for Saturday, October 26, 2019 5:00pm at the Grayling Eagles Club, 602 Huron St., Grayling, MI 49738.
