Rita L. DeRieu

Rita L. DeRieu, 86, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday, April 10th, 2007. Rita was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 25, 1920, the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Clark) Laboissiere. She married Robert DeRieu on November 26,1938 in Angola, Indiana, he preceded her in death in 1985. Rita moved to Grayling in January 2007, coming from Florida.She enjoyed boating and reading. Survived by: Fiance: Herbert Wells of Florida. Daughter: Joanne (Bob) Drumb of Grayling. Son: Dave (Lulu) DeRieu of Detroit. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, and 7 brothers and sisters. Family services will be held on Saturday April 14, 2007. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery in Fraser, Michigan. .
