Richard "RICK" Paul Hetrick

Rick Hetrick passed away after a brief but hard battle with prostate cancer in Roscommon, MI on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the age of 51 years. Rick is predeceased by his infant brother Andrew Joseph. Rick is survived by his parents, Paul and Linda Hetrick and one of his best friends, Monica Haines. Children: Shannon Spicer of Argentine MI; Ian (Alyse) Hetrick of Fowlerville, MI; Shayna (Francisco) Guadalajara of Jalisco, MX; Richard (Lindsay Ann) Hetrick of Indian River, MI; and Matthew Hetrick of Angola, IN and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his younger brother Sean (Kathryn) Hetrick and his 6 children. Rick found his joy in life in music, reading, and playing video games. He loved his kitties, but, most of all he loved and missed his children every day he was not with them. Rick's family would like to thank the nurses and Dr. Hanert at Munson Hospital, in Grayling for their care. They are also grateful for the tender care provided by the loving nurses of Munson Hospice of Grayling, and the wonderful care and attention that was provided by the Lighthouse at Roscommon Health and Rehab Center in Roscommon, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2343 Valley Rd. Mancelona, MI 49659. Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.
