Ray William Pelton

Ray William Pelton, 62, of Beaver Creek Township, passed away on May 12, 2016. Ray was born in Wauseon, Ohio on October 6, 1953 to Albert and Erma (Kessler) Pelton. Ray was proud of his previous work as a meat cutter and working for the DNR. Survived by his children: Cathy (Jon) Pelton-Sopcsak of Roscommon; Corinna (Richard) Pelton-Wineman of Roscommon; Charlyann (James) Pelton-Gath of Standish; Thomasa Beck of Harrison; Kendra Boonie of Mancelona. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brothers: Jerry Pelton of Roscommon; and George Pelton of Grayling; Sisters: Carolyn Davis of Ohio; Mary Woodbury of Alaska; Irene Rabie of Ohio; Elfrieda Jewell of Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas and James Pelton.
