Peter Lee McCann

Peter Lee McCann, 54, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025 with his significant other, Debbie Smith and mother-in-law Rebecca Ray by his side along with his sons Zackary and Jacob McCann. 

Pete was born on October 12, 1970 to Bradley and Wanda McCann in Pontiac, MI. 

He is survived by his sons Zachary and Jacob McCann, daughter-in-law Lindsey McCann and grandson Jullian McCann, and step-children Amber Smith, Austin Smith, William Mcnew, Emma Johnson, and James Smith. Pete has five sisters; Rebecca Potter, Elizabeth McCann, Jennifer Townsend, Leah Clayton, and Sarah Clayton. 

Pete was a proud mason of the Bellaire Lodge. He worked as a mechanic his entire life. Pete loved to take his step-son James Smith salmon fishing and would spend many late nights on the river. Every summer Pete would be in the upper peninsula camping, fishing, boating and looking for new fishing spots with family. Beneath his tough exterior, he was a kind and loving man that will be greatly missed by many.
