Paul Leroy Barnum passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, October 8, 2013. He was born January 5, 1944 to Harold Barnum and Edith Covington Barnum in Pontiac, Michigan. Paul is survived by his wife, Cathi (VonAhrens) Barnum. Children, Lora (Kelly) LaVier, Kimberly (Andrew) Wade, Craig (Katy) Barnum, Casey Goeckerman, Heidi (Mike) Gossard and Gretchen (Jason) Ritter- Lopatowski , Brother Kevin (Kate) Barnum, Sisters Patricia Barnum, Ruth (Tom) Jackson and his grandchildren, Alicia, Adam, Erin, Josh, Shannon, William, Michael, Cash, Colt, Kelsey, Maggie, Ben, Abby and Austin and his 3 great-grandsons, Kadin, Noah and Axel and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters Nola Chamberlain and Carole Wilson and brother-in-law Otis Wilson and father-in-law Kenneth Rose, Sr. Paul was an appliance service technician for over 50 years. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Grayling Eagles. His love and passion in life was his family: his wife, children, and precious grandchildren, his pets, classic cars, history, nature, traveling and always his faith.
