Patsy Irene Lawe

Patsy Irene Lawe, 84, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 18, 2017 at her daughter, Dianne Lawe's, home in Roscommon. She was born October 17, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio, to Sherman Joseph Holey and Grace Irene Patterson. She married Allan Cecil Lawe on March 1, 1952. She was the loving mother of 10 children. She loved bowling, quilting, gardening, painting, playing softball and camping with family. Patsy is survived by her sister, May Ruth Rock; brother, Hazen (Betty) Holey; brother, Edward Holey; sister, Grace (George) Rosin; sister-in-law, Ruth (Milo) Stratton; nine children: Debra Fry, Robert A. Lawe, Joseph C. Lawe, Mark E. (Karen) Lawe, David E. Lawe, Gregory E. Lawe, James P. Lawe, Deanne G. (Vince) Halek, and Dianne M. Lawe; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren. Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Allan C. Lawe; her parents; sister, Lucy Reno; brother Sherman Holey Jr.; and daughter, Susan Mae Lawe. Visitation will be held at Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Grayling, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services following at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
