Orlin Dennis Lucksted

Orlin Dennis Lucksted, 78, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by his family July 12, 2016. Orlin was born November 9, 1937 in Center Line, MI to Melvin and Charlotte Lucksted. Orlin attended and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Juris Doctor degree. He worked with the FBI for 30 years before retiring in 1993. He married Kay Parkinson in 1995 in Grayling, MI. Orlin loved to go fishing and play golf, was an all around sports fan and liked eating really good food. He will be dearly missed. Orlin is survived by his his loving wife Kay; children, Tina (Dave) Durgan, Troyann (Jim) Banas, Alicia Lucksted, Christopher (Vera) Lucksted; 8 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; and 8 siblings and 4 brothers-in-law and all of their spouses. Orlin is preceded in death by his stepson Todd Kenyon and brother Allan Lucksted. Mass of christian burial will take place Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling, MI with visitation before from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, Orlin's family has asked for donations to be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 707 Spruce St., Grayling, MI 49738 and Crawford County Christian Help Center, 300 Huron St., Grayling, MI 49738.
