Norman F. Parker

Norman F. Parker, 86, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2011. Norman was born in Grayling, MI on January 26, 1925, the son of the late Arthur and Laura Parker. He served in the US Army. He married the former Shirley McNeil in November 1946 in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Survived by his wife Shirley of 63 years. Daughters: Linda (Gary) Blood of Dimondale. Marilynn Gilroy of Mason. Son: Jimmy (Jacalyn) Parker of Grayling. 7 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren Sister: Phyllis Nash of Gaylord. Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: John A. (Patty) McNeil of Mason. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Lois Barnes , Elda Schultz & Norma Gordin; brothers: Dale and Clifford Parker Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Thursday March 31, 2011 between 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday April 1, 2011 at 12 noon at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Grayling, MI, with Rev.
