Merle L. "Bud" Morgan

Merle Leroy "Bud" Morgan, 77, of Grayling, MI passed away on Wednesday March 30, 2011. Bud was born in Midland, MI on July 8, 1933, the son of the late Leroy and Mildred (Barker) Morgan. He married Judy Kay Matatall on April 17, 1971 in Troy, MI. Bud served in the US Army. He was a Country-Western Singer. He served as Past Worthy President Eagle Aerie #3465 of Grayling and Aerie #4496 of Kalkaska.. Bud was Cofounder of Sam's League Football which includes Grayling Redskins. Survived by Daughter: Linda Rehfuss of Grayling Grandchildren: Lonica McClure and Lindsay Gilmore. Great grandchildren: Jenna, Logan, Akira, Kayla, Kiersten Bud was preceded in death by his wife Judy and his brother William "Bill" Morgan. Visitation will be held on Friday April 1, 2011 between 3-7 p.m. and Saturday April 2, 2011 between 10 am - 1 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. . Funeral Service will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Brandon Rogers officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gaylord.
