Melvyn Douglas Aguillon, 80, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully on February 13, 2019 at home. Melvyn was born January 5, 1939 in Warrington, England to Bonifacio and Edith (Lightfoot) Aguillon. Melvyn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Junell (Frederick) Aguillon; children, Tina (Larry) Klump and Tony (April Gugin) Aguillon; grandchildren, Jared (Natasha) Klump, Trevor (Savannah) Klump, Hailey Aguillon, Taylor Aguillon, and Payton Aguillon; great-grandchild, Emerald Klump; brother, Barry (Jill) Bowers; mothers of Hailey, Taylor, and Payton, Michelle Gatti, Heather Aguillon, and Margie Eastland; and many nieces and nephews. Melvyn is preceded in death by both of his parents. Melvyn served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Upon his honorable discharge, he soon married Junell Frederick in Adrian, MI on September 17, 1960. They moved to Grayling in 1979 and for the last 22 years have also "snow-birded" to Tampa, FL. Melvyn loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, whom he taught many life lessons to. He enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing, hunting, camping, a cold beer, and a camp fire was his style. He was definitely a people person that will be dearly missed. Visitation will take place Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Arrangements by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
