Mary I. Dunaway

Mary I. Shaw, Dunaway, 88 of Gaylord, Michigan passed away peacefully in Tender Care on Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lester L and Vera E Shaw. She was the widow of Clarence J. Krawlski, Richard H. Brown, and George A. Dunaway. Mary retired in 1965 from Sears Robuck and Company. Mary moved to Frederic, Michigan in 1968. She was a past member and Vice President of The Bay View Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and past Vice President of Big Bradford Lake Association in Waters, Michigan. Mary's favorite activity was playing the slot machines at ANY Casino. She was also preceded in death by her infant brother, Robert Shaw, Very Special Grandmother Mary Downey, and step Daughter Valorie Rood. She is survived by her step children, Dee Dee (Gene) Rhoades, Sharon (Calvin) Heltzel, Beverly (Mark) Wiese, Jim (Peggy) Dunaway, George (Greg) Dunaway, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Graveside service will take place at 2:00, Wednesday, August 2, at Highland Memory Gardens 8308 South River Road (Rt 24) Waterville, Ohio.
