Martin Kniespeck

Martin Matthew Kniespeck, 70 of Higgins Lake, MI, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI passed away June 30, 2019 at home.

Marty was born to Matthew and Hedwig (Biernik) Kniespeck in Hamtramck, MI on July 26, 1948. Martin worked many years for the Railroad company and Chrysler. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and collecting firewood. He also enjoyed bowling and was in bowling league for many years. He also liked watching the Detroit Tigers and watched every game faithfully. He enjoyed spending time with his "up nprth family", Ann (Matt) Tuck and their children Amairis, Kylie, Braiden and Connor and Suzie, Dan and Katey. He was a very kind man, helping and giving to anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor and loved throwing parties, entertaining and cooking for guests. He was a very hard working man and a great father. He is going to be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Marty is survived by his daughter, Renee Kniespeck; ex-wife, Kathy Kniespeck; sister, Marlene Kniespeck; brother, Matthew Kniespeck; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son, Martin Kniespeck; twin brother, Michael Kniespeck; and sister Marie Kniespeck.

Military Honors and Graveside service is being planned to take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Condolences can be expressed at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
