Marjorie Marie Wakeley

Marjorie Marie Wakeley, 85, of Grayling passed away on August 15, 2017. She was born on March 11, 1932 in Bay City to the late Alphonse and Edith (McKendry) Eichinger. Marjorie married Robert Wakeley on August 24, 1951, he preceded her in death in 2007 after 56 years of marriage. . She previously worked at Bear Archery and as a caregiver for Ruth Robertson. Marjorie's greatest joy in the whole world was being a mother of 9 children. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survived by her children: Donna (Carl) Roed of Grayling; Richard (Teresa) Wakeley of Attica; Dena (Don) Yelinek of Grayling; Dawn, Darryl, and Dale Wakeley, all of Grayling. Grandchildren: Robert (Cierra) Wakeley; Shannon (Paul) Reichelderfer; Colleen (Josh) Taylor; Mara LaPradd; Dylan (Danielle) and Billy Joe Pahssen. Great grandchildren: Myley Terry; Mikayla Starr; Jordan, Abigail, and Carter Wakeley, Brother: Harold Eichenger. Preceded in death by her children: Daniel and Dennis Wakeley, and Tina Doe; siblings: Joyce, Tommy, and Jerry Eichenger; husband and parents. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on August 18, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. up until the time of the Funeral Service which begins at 12:00 noon.
