Marjorie Elizabeth Cooper, 83, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Marjorie was born to Henry Charles and Alice (Murphy) Houghton in Boston, MA on January 25, 1937. Marjorie enjoyed baking and cooking. She was an avid reader, loved the beach, and loved listening to music. Most of all she loved all of her children and grandchildren and the time she got to spend with them.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Cheryl-Ann (Jim) Cooper, William James (Debra) Cooper, Jr., John Robert Cooper, David Cooper, Neil (Tina) Cooper, and Theresa (James) Minor; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and brother John Houghton. She is preceded in death by both parents Henry and Alice Houghton, husband William James Cooper Sr., daughter-in-law Susan Cooper, sister Ann Weldy, and brother Robert Houghton.

Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2020, 12:00 pm at Grayling Assembly of God Church until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling, MI.
