Marilyn Ruth Dorrance

Marilyn Ruth Dorrance, 80, of Bear Lake Township, passed away on April 13, 2019. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 12, 1938. She married Richard L. Dorrance on January 18, 1956 in Keego Harbor, Michigan. They were married for 58 years before he preceded her in death in 2014. Marilyn was a member of Bear Lake Christian Church in Kalkaska and the Kalkaska Eagles. Survived by her children: Diane Lindahl of Clio and Dale (Debbie) Dorrance of Kalkaska. She was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sisters: Pat Borah of Irons, Michigan and Brenda Minor of Vermont. Preceded in death by her husband Richard, 2 sisters, and one brother. Visitation will be held at Bear Lake Christian Church on Thursday, April 18, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 noon with Pastor Scott Hoffer officiating.
