Marie Isabelle Wiltse

Marie Isabelle Wiltse, 99, of Grayling, passed away on December 15, 2017. She was born on January 29, 1918 in Flushing, Michigan to the late Alfred and Clara (Diamond) Londrigan. The former Marie Londrigan married James Wiltse on January 27, 1973 in Owosso. They moved to Grayling in 1974 from Owosso after Marie retired from Swanson Manufacturing. She was a member of Owosso City Club, Owosso Country Club, Memorial Hospital Auxillary, Michigan Bishop Sewing Council, International Professional Secretaries Association, St. Margaret's Circle D of I in Owosso. In 1973, she was awarded Secretary of the Year Award from the Shiawassee Chapter of Professional Secretarial Association. She also taught Bishop Sewing in the Adult Education Programs in Owosso and Graylng. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling and was also served as a Eucharistic Minister for the church. Marie's hobbies included camping and traveling all over the United States, bowling, golfing, and sewing. She and Jim were proud that they had visited all of the 50 United States and had made many friends all over the US that they had met in their travels.. Survived by her husband Jim Wiltse of 44 years, Children: Susan K. Wiltse of Dowogiac; JoAnne Wiltse-Neuberger of Grand Haven; and David (Patricia)Wiltse of Grayling. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother in law: Gerald (Donna) Wiltse of Saginaw. Preceded in death by sisters in law, Lucille Londrigan and Mary Jane Hofknecht.
