Lucinda Harriett Davison (Rickwalt)

Lucinda Harriett Davison, 93, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2011 Lucinda was born in Wells Township, Tuscola County, Michigan on June 3, 1917, the daughter of the late Henry and Carolyn (Borck) Rickwalt. She married Frank Davison on November 14, 1936 in Caro, Michigan. Frank preceded her in death in 1990 after 54 years of marriage. She was retired from Essexville Electric where she worked as a bookkeeper. She moved to Grayling after retirement. She and Frank traveled extensively. Lucinda enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds and deer. She volunteered for the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church where she was also involved in the Dorcas Circle, Altar Guild, and LWML for several years. Survived by Daughters: Janith (Robert) Shaw of Newberry. Margery (Edward) Franklin of Grayling. Grandchildren: Chad, Sandra, Kristin, Kyle, and Kip. 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dear friends: Bruce and Jane Timlick Preceded in death by her parents; husband, one brother and 3 sisters and her daughter Linda Davison. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 between 4-8:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Grayling at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29th, 2011 with Pastor Todd Brunworth officiating.
