Lola Davis

Lola Hazel Davis, 89, of Grayling, passed away August 12, 2015. Lola was born in Cooks, Michigan on October 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Margaret (Terrian) and William Gray. She married Frederick William Davis on July 19, 1945 in Escanaba, MI. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1964. Lola enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, ceramics, CB'ers club, and being a den mother and band booster supporter. Survived by her sister, June Anderson of Gladstone, Michigan. As well as, her children: Lloyd (Linda) Davis of Highland Township; Sandra Brody-Sparks of Grayling, Crystal A.(Richard) Filley of Grayling; and adopted son, Scott Allen Davis of Everett,Washington. Grandchildren: Jared and Paige Davis, Annette and Nathan Brody, Fawn Filley, Krislin Davis and Jonathan Davis. Four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fredrick William Davis; and a son, William Frederick Davis. Memorial service will be held at Bear Lake Christian Church on Sunday September 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held in Ortonville, Michigan.
