Lois Charlotte Palmer, 85, of Grayling, passed away on June 29, 2014. Lois was born in Calumet, Illinois on March 30, 1929, to the late Bernice (Howse) and Ernest Winston. She married Leo Palmer on December. 29, 1947 in Grayling. Lois had worked at Bear Archery as a seamstress, enjoyed quilting,knitting, crocheting, and making dolls. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Survived by her husband Leo of 66 years. Sons: Mike of Grayling and Kerry (Lori) Palmer of Gaylord. 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Sister: Ardith Wilcox of Alpena Brother: Wayne Winston of Marysville. Preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter Ann Marie; and sister Eleanora SanCartier. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 between 5-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Barnett officiating.
