Mrs. Leona Louise Dailey, 86, of Grayling passed away onTuesday, October 30th, 2007. Leona was born in Lecoma, Missouri on July 8, 1921, the daughter of the late William Robert and Victoria Louise (Lee) Elliott. Her employment included operating a seamstress business, retail sales, and being a homemaker She married Edward N. Dailey on December 5, 1942 in Rolla Missouri. They would have celebrated their 65th anniversary this year. Leona was a member of the Grayling Free Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary, Police and Fireman's Metropolitan Club Leona is survived by her husband Edward of 64 years. Daughter, Mary Beth (Lynn) Chidester of Houghton Lake, MI. Son:William (Joan) Dailey of Lansing, MI. Grandchildren: Kevin S. (Wanda) Dailey of Persia, Iowa Vicki (David) Thomas of Sault Ste. Marie Lori (Neil) Byce of Gainesville, FL. Andrew (Dayna) Chidester of Monee, IL Randi (Jeff) Thompson of Rockford Great grandchildren: Taylor Victoria Dailey, Kaitlyn Victoria Thomas, Mackenzie Elizabeth Thomas, Megan Elizabeth Dailey, Grant Neil (Stephanie) Byce IV, Jennifer Byce, Karoline Grace Chidester, Chandyn Jon Thompson Great great granchild: Grant Neil Byce V. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers William and Walter Elliott, sister in law Anita Elliott, great grandson William Andrew Dailey. Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Thursday November 1, 2007 between 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Friday November 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Deepdale Memorial Park Lansing, MI.
