Leah Carol Klassen, 73, of Grayling, MI., passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 Leah was born in Corry, PA on January 3, 1941, daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth (Crowell) and Lyle Blakeslee. Leah married Frank Klassen on July 30, 1962 in Corry, PA. She was a Registered Nurse. Leah lived and walked her faith on a daily basis and faithfully served alongside her husband Frank in lifelong ministry together. She was a member of Grayling Free Methodist Church. Survived by her husband Frank of 51 years. Daughters: Carla Sue Gardner of Grayling, MI Kelly Lynne Klassen of Eaton Rapids, MI Grandson: Timothy (Christina) Gardner and great granddaughter Leah Elizabeth of Grayling. Sisters: Laura (Tom) Shuttlesworth of Florida Beth (Paul) Klassen of Alger Brother in law: Gary Klassen of Gladwin Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; infant son Frank John Klassen, Jr.; daughter Rhonda Kay Klassen; and sister Lenore Klassen Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2014 between 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 3, 2014 between 12-3 p.m. at Grayling Free Methodist Church. Celebration of Eternal Life will be at 3:00 p.m. at Grayling Free Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Marshall officiating.
