Grayling, MI Laurence Lester Stairs Laurence Lester Stairs, 70, of Grayling passed away on Tuesday, October 28th, 2008. Laurence was born in New Brunswick, Canada on June 8, 1938, the son of the late Abijah and Christina Stairs. He married the former Helen Burden in June of 1958. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ortonville, MI. He moved to the Grayling area about 6 years ago.
