Larry Lee VanSickle

Larry Lee VanSickle, Sr., age 63, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 21, 2025 at Munson Healthcare - Grayling Hospital.

Larry was born on March 26, 1961 in St. Louis, MI to Floyd and Nancy (Omans) VanSickle, Sr. Larry grew up as a survivalist. He served in the Army National Guard for 15 years. He enjoyed food prepping and watching YouTube. He was known to many as "Crazy Larry". He enjoyed spending free time with his grandkids, taking walks, and fishing. He loved everything about planes and watching them with his kids when they were younger. He will be missed dearly by his family.

Larry is survived by his children, Mathew (Erin) VanSickle, Jonathan VanSickle, Kyle (Lindy) VanSickle, Amber Franklin, Larry (Sierra) VanSickle, Jr., and Elizabeth (Zach Cecil) VanSickle, grandchildren, Olivia, Brooklyn, Carson, Bryson, Stetson, Mallory, Dewayne, ReaLynn, SummerLynn, Tucker, Isabella, Alexander, Nevaeh, Octavia, Emma, Sophia, and Joshua, Jr., and siblings, Floyd VanSickle and Tammy VanSickle.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and son Joshua VanSickle.

Visitation will take place at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor David Longstaff officiating. Interment will be held in the spring in Alma, MI.
