Larry Dale "LB" Baynham

Larry Dale "LB" Baynham, Jr., 53, of Maple Forest Township passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2012. Larry was born in Grayling, MI on July 26, 1958, a son of Larry Dale Baynham, Sr. and the late Rebecca Ann (Sworthwood) Baynham. He married the former Sandra Taylor-Bowman on July 30, 1983 in Frederic, MI. Larry worked for 35 years in the wood product business, the majority of those years were with Larry Baynham Forest Products and the at Chris Muma Forest Products, he also worked as a heavy equipment operator for CH2MHill. He Attended Heritage Baptist Church. Larry most of all loved his children and family and was known as a soft and gentle hearted man that was always willing to help others. He was an avid supporter of local sports, especially when his children, nieces and nephews were playing. Larry was involved with Grayling Little League, Grayling Redskins, Grayling Vikings, GRA, Grayling Youth Boosters. Larry enjoyed family farm, the outdoors, forestry, and the equipment used to enjoy those activities. His other interests were hunting, fishing, golfing, football, horse races, NASCAR, and traveling in Dominican Republic. Survived by his wife Sandy of 28 years. Children: Katie Baynham, of Grayling, MI; and Larry (Ashley) Baynham, of Freeland, MI. Granddaughter: Kennedy Belle Baynham Father: Larry (Alice) Baynham, Sr. of Maple Forest Township. Brothers: Edward (Patty) Baynham of Frederic Ted (Allison) Baynham of Grayling Sisters: Joan (Arthur) Canfield of Wisconsin Jane (Jay) Osga of Frederic. Mother in law: Virginia Bowman of Kalkaska Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church in Grayling at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11th, 2012 with Pastor Ernie Wagner officiating.
