Julia Ann Mertes (Watkins)

Julia Ann Mertes, 66, of Frederic passed away o Wed. Nov. 16, 2011. Julia was born in Gaylord, Michigan on July 23, 1945, a daughter of Lucy (Cassidy) Watkins and the late Paul Watkins. She married John Mertes on April 9, 1966 in Grayling. Julia worked at the Holiday Inn (now Ramada) for 25 years as housekeeping inspector. Survived by: Husband John of 45 years Children: John Jr. of Frederic Barry of Frederic Richard (Cindy) of Florida Lisa (Jeff) Nisch of Frederic Barb (Thomas) Henry of Frederic Grandchildren: Mike, Rachel, Billie Jo, & Chad Great grandchildren: Kylor, Kayla, Gunner, Haydn, and Mason Brothers: Carl & Russell Watkins Sisters: Jean Costello, Janet Rybiski, & Cindy Hoover.
