Joyce Diana (O'Halloran) Krueger

Joyce Diana (O'Halloran) Krueger passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Roscommon on June 11th, 2017 at the age of 76. Joyce is predeceased by her children Marie Isabel and Robert Edward Irving, her brother Edward and her parents Marie Isabel and Edward Sylvester O'Halloran as well as her beloved husband Ronald Captain Ron' Krueger, who filled her last 25 years with peace, contentment, and laughter. Joyce is survived by her loving children Renee Andrea, Amie Marie, and Jacob Irving, and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mason Douglas Baertsch, Jamison Scott Moran, and Jakelynn Renee Irving who all loved and helped care for their Noma' with support from their grandma Michelle Policht-Hagerman of Roscommon. Joyce was blessed with the love and friendship of many including her dear friend and mother-in-law Rita Krueger of Bad Axe, Karen & Chantel Ropp of Bay City, and her sisters-in-law Colleen and Wanda Irving, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews throughout the state. Joyce was born in Detroit, MI in December 1940. She graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1958 and went on to earn her degree from Delta College while raising her children and became a dedicated social worker for the State of Michigan. Joyce was an avid reader, collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, and great lover of animals that befriended every animal that crossed her path. Together she and Captain Ron enjoyed boating the great waters surrounding Michigan. Joyce will be interred at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI with her parents and husband.
