Joseph Marion Bilinski, October 31,1928-January 20,2010 Died suddenly at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City, Michigan. Devoted loving son of the late John and Pauline Bilinski. Beloved caring brother of Dorothy (Alfons) Krzesinski and Juanita Bilinski. Dear uncle of Walter Joseph Jurcich (dec), great uncle of Matthew (Andry) and Douglas Jurcich, great great uncle of Maxwell Jurcich. Dear cousin of Joseph (Catherine), Michael (Janet) and Boris (Mary Jane) Schmondiuk and their families. Dear cousin of Msgr. William and Michael Bilinski, John Bilinsky and Darlene Nowak. Honored Godfather of Donna Marie Parkinson, Walter Jurcich, Theodore Markes, Lisa Marie Mallorey, and Michael Raymond. Loving, supportive, fun-loving friend of many in Indianapolis, Detroit, Roscommon, and Lake Margrethe-Grayling, MI whre Joe resided full-time since 1973. He retired in 1991 from middle school teaching following a superior teaching career first in Detroit and then Roscommon. His interests included dying Ukrainian Easter eggs (pysanky), cooking, tennis, snow skiing, quilting, water sports, computers, and fishing. After a busy day one of his greatest pleasures was relaxing on the porch of the home he so loved, happily visiting with friends while watching the activities on his Lake Margrethe. Joe has been loved, he will be missed, he will not be forgotten Visitation will be held on Friday January 29, 2010 between 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 30, 2010 at 12 noon with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Grayling, Michigan. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling.
