John Anthony Schlaff (Tony) 45, of Grayling was called home on March 21, 2015. He was born March 15, 1970 in Ann Arbor, the son of John Schlaff and Brenda Devine. He graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1989. He was always known to have a smile on his face and a cowboy hat on his head. His favorite saying was "cowboy's in the house." He was an amazing person. He is survived by his daughters, Harley and Montanna of Grayling; mother, Brenda (Pete) Devine; companion of 20 years, Trina Root and her children Justin and Matt; brothers, George (Jennifer), Shawn (Virginia), Bryan (Melissa), and Sam (Jo); sister, Dana (Chris); step-brothers, Shannon (Christine), Patrick, Christopher (Cheyenne); step-sisters, Haggain (Monte), Rebecca (Justin), and Sarah (Kevin); and nieces and nephews, two great nephews and a great niece. He is preceded in death by his father, John Schlaff and his son, Anthony. A celebration of John's life will take place Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
