Jennie P Annis

Jennie P. Annis, 90, of Grayling passed away on Friday September 21, 2007. She was born in Lake Odessa, MI on January 30, 1917 to the late Walter Eugene and Ruth Pearl (Manning) Decker. She married Forrest Gerald Annis on November 21, 1945, They were married for 56 years before he preceded her in death in 2002. Jennie had worked as a payroll clerk for te Crawford County Road Commission. She was a member of Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star #83, a Wellington Farm Park Charter Member. She is also survived by Daughter(s): Anita (Skip) Lake of Williamsburg, Michigan. Irene (John) Gill of Idaho Son: Gerald Annis of Anchorage. Alaska. Grandchildren: Julie (Bryan) Hinds, Jeremy (Tiffiny) Annis, Jonathan (Anna) Annis, and Jennifer Annis. Great grandchildren: Tessa and Forrest Annis. 8 step-grandchildren, 8 step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 23, 2007 between 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. An Order of Eastern Star Sevice will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church on Monday September 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. William Cargo officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling. Memorial contributions may be made to: Wellington Farm Park, American Cancer Society, or Michelson Memorial United Methodist Church.
