Jason Eric Potter

Jason Eric Potter, 31, of Grayling passed away on Monday April 29, 2013. Jason was born on June 11, 1981 in Gaylord, MI to Jodi Piper-Potter and Justin Potter. Jason graduated from GHS in 1999 and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Science (Psychology) from CMU. He has worked at Camp Shawano as a youth specialist for 10 years. Jason loved to golf, bowl, hunt, and kayak on the river. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jason is survived by his parents, sister Jayme Potter, nephew Blake E. Potter, aunts, uncles, cousins and grand parents Bob and Gail Weaver of Lupton, MI. Jason is preceded in death by grandfather James D. Piper, grandmother Doreen I. Piper, and uncle Wesley Potter, Roy Darell Jr. Potter, and great grandmother Bessie Mae Potter. Jason was an outstanding young man full of life; a very loving and kind son/friend, brother/friend, uncle, nephew, cousin/friend to all. Jason will be deeply missed by all who knew him. But we will remember him and his amazing smile forever. A celebration of life for Jason will be held Friday May 3, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Grayling Country Club.
