Janis E. LaVack, 73, of Frederic passed away on Wednesday, May 6th, 2009. Janis was born in Grayling, MI on January 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Truman and Dorothea (Johnson) LaVack. Survived by: Sister: Natalie (Raymond)Weaver of Frederic. Brother: Ronald (Martha) LaVack of Midland. Dearly loved and adored by 29 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Alvin LaVack Visitation will be held on Thursday May 7, 2009 between 5-8 P M. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling on Friday, May 8th, 2009 with Dan Weaver officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Frederic, MI.
