Grayling, MI James Lawrence May James Lawrence May, 72, of Grayling passed away on Sunday, October 26th, 2008. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on April 18, 1936, the son of the late James Clyde and Pearlie (Howard) May. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a steel worker and was a member of Iron Workers Union Local 25 of Detroit. He was the husband of Barbara (Miihlback), they were married on October 15, 1997 in Grand Marais. James lived in the Grayling area for the past 7 years, coming from Mayville. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Grayling Eagles and a member of the Luzerne American Legion Post. Survived by his wife, Barbara Sons: James Ray May of New Haven Jack (Kimberly) May of Springfield, MO Clyde May of Marlette Ryan Brown of Ann Arbor. 2 Grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren Nephew: David (Andrea) of Caro Sister: Janet Stone of Sterling Heights Brothers: John Steven (Barbara) May of Essexville Allen G. May of Las Vegas, NV Preceded in death by brothers David and Donald May.
